My teaching career began in an 8-12 Middle School in Southall, West London in 1990.  Since then, I have taught in two Cambridgeshire schools, one in St Ives and my current school in Ely.

I love all things mathematical and in 2012 I completed the Mathematics Specialist Teaching programme, a two year Masters level course.  This superb course led to a position at the Faculty of Education in Cambridge.  I was a Mathematics Tutor, Personal Tutor and Partnership Tutor of the Primary PGCE Course supervising trainees on placement and liaising with teachers in partnership schools.  I worked for the Faculty on secondment one day a week for three years and it was a fantastic experience; I loved working with teachers who were at the start of their career.

Over the years, I have planned, taught and reflected upon the learing that thas taken place in a vast number of lessons and I am still looking for new ways to help children learn.
